The Legacy
Braddock Metallurgical was founded in 1953 by William R. Braddock with a simple but enduring mission: to help our customers succeed. From humble beginnings with a single salt pot furnace in New Jersey, the company was built on the belief that exceptional service, technical expertise, and a well-trained workforce would deliver lasting value for customers. That philosophy became the foundation of Braddock and continues to define the company more than 70 years later.
As the business grew, William’s sons, Bill and Steve, carried that commitment into the next generation. Under their leadership, Braddock expanded beyond its New Jersey roots into the Southeast and Puerto Rico, growing from a local operation into a company with eight facilities. Along the way, Braddock continued to invest in advanced equipment, innovative processes, and a highly skilled workforce while strengthening its reputation for quality, reliability, and customer service.
Today, Braddock proudly continues as a third-generation family business led by Clay and Griff Braddock. Their leadership reflects a deep understanding of manufacturing, metallurgy, and customer expectations, along with a continued commitment to innovation and operational excellence. By combining modern technology with decades of hands-on experience, they ensure Braddock remains a trusted partner to customers across a wide range of industries.
From one salt pot furnace to eight facilities, Braddock’s story is one of steady growth, long-term relationships, and an unwavering commitment to customer success. While the company has expanded from New Jersey into the Southeast and Puerto Rico, its commitment has never changed: help our customers succeed.
